Understanding of mental Health: organized by Society of American–Nepalese Nurses (SANN)
We are all deeply affected by the devastating Earthquake that hit Nepal. Collectively, we are experiencing so much grief, loss, anxiety, and many more emotions that are unsettling. The psychological trauma our loved ones are experiencing in Nepal is unimaginable and the long-term consequences will be significant.
Let us all come together to support one another and learn about the impact of trauma on our mental health. Mental health impacts every aspect of our lives and we cannot ignore this critical issue any longer.
If we do not attend to our mental health, our relationships suffer and the risk of developing mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety disorders increases. Please join us on May 9th from 1-4pm to help each other heal during this difficult time and get educated about mental health and mental illness from the experts !
